High Plains Lodge Family Rooms

It is my 2nd time to stay at this place and I highly recommend it to family and friends. Positive: The location of the accomodation was great. There is a restaurant and bar on location with great service. Very friendly staff and good food to ebnjoy with family and friends. Negative: There was free coffee/tea with milk for guests to enjoy. But a small welcome snack and drinks would be great to add.

Great but sleepless. Positive: Location, convenience, cleanliness Negative: Noisy neighbors above and in a room next door.

Positive: It is close to mount hotham. Negative: It is hard to find car park. And I could hear music sound and noisy from next door. All sound comes through from next rooms.

Positive: Easy check in and the staff on phone is amazing Negative: None

Property would benefit from improved maintenance, better soundproofing Positive: Comfortable beds and a convenient location in Dinner Plain, with the pub and dining options within easy walking distance. Negative: On the downside, soundproofing is poor. We stayed in a ground-floor room and could clearly hear footsteps and movement from guests in the room above, as well as conversations from neighbouring rooms due to the thin walls. The bathroom showed visible mould in the sealant, and there were gum stains on the carpet that should have been addressed. The window in our room did not seal properly, allowing cold draughts inside. Combined with the lack of double glazing, this meant the heaters needed to run constantly to maintain a comfortable temperature. We also had an issue with a neighbouring vehicle being parked directly outside our balcony. Although it was reported, no action was taken during our stay.
